Nursery Registrations will take place on Friday 22nd March at St Joseph’s School Hall from 3.15pm – 4.30pm.
Late registrations can be made on the first day of Nursery Net-Set-Go at 3.30pm on Friday 3rd May at Seymour Shaw netball courts.
The Nursery Netball Program runs for 10 weeks on the following dates;
Day 1 3rd May
Day 2 10th May
Day 3 17th May
Day 4 24th May
Day 5 31st May
Day 6 7th June
Day 7 14th June
Day 8 21st June
School Holidays
Day 9 19th July
Day 10 26th July
Presentation Day occurs on the last day which is Friday 26th July at 4.45pm.
Should Nursery be affected by wet weather and grounds closed, another Friday will be added to the calendar to complete the 10 week program. Presentation Day will also be moved back with this change. The latest we will move nursery days too is Friday 9th August.
Girls in Year 1 are invited to participate in a 6-7 week non-competitive tournament against other clubs commencing on Saturday 1st June at 11.45am at Seymour Shaw.
In 2013 Joeys will become an accredited ANZ NetSetGo Centre. NetSetGo is an exciting junior netball program. It has been designed to provide children from the age of 5 years with the best possible learning and playing experience that enables them to develop a positive introduction to netball. It is a quality netball program that:
- Promotes participation in physical activity
- Addresses the issue of childhood obesity by providing a low cost, easily accessible and community based exercise option
- Aallows children and parents to participate in fun physical activity together
- Provides a skill development program which allows girls to experience sport, improve self esteem and learn new skills
The cost of this program will be $75. Participants will receive a BAG, NETBALL, BARBIE T-SHIRT, NSW SWIFTS PENCIL CASE and a PARTICIPATION MEDAL. They will be involved in a 10 week accredited program where they will develop motor skills and confidence as well as social interaction skills in a safe environment.
Registration for Nursery Netball can be done on the Joeys registration dates OR on one of two other afternoons that will be announced at a later date.
